It’s Emoney and Derek going solo as we’ve sent Dave to the Flyers game because we felt that the team needed a little karma boost – and the tickets were an easy get. Congratulations to Flyers new head coach John Stevens’ first victory in a very big game – a 3-2 win over Atlanta in a shootout.
Derek and Emoney also talk Eagles and the disappointment that comes with reminiscing about a team that just breaks a fan’s heart.

While the Eagles game was a mess, we focus on what is turning out to be an even bigger mess as the Flyers really stink on ice. This team is in trouble for sure and the moves that are being made are not the kick in the ass this team needs. We also feature Pairface’s post of the week – a new segment featuring everyone’s favorite member on the forums.
This sportscast went late as we were engrossed with game 7 of the NLCS – we jumped in the basement as if the Phillies had won the pennant. I had no idea how much we really do not like the Mets or New York teams in general. I despise the Mets and it was nice to see that Dave and Emoney feel the same way.

T.O. Goes Back to Dallas Crying Like a Baby and the Remarkable Run of Emoney

All is right in the world this morning, T.O. and the ‘Boys tucking their tail between their legs and heading home to yell at one another and, this just in, Billy Wagner is blowing playoff games for the Metropolitans.
Also, Emoney is kicking his book’s ass up and down the street. This kid is 7-1-1 on the season against the line. Very nice work
God bless the USA as the SportsCast crew rounds out the horseshoe tossing season with a picnic and a tournament on this beautiful fall day in Philadelphia.

What else needs to be said about the 2006 Philadelphia Phillies? One thing is for sure, after this team finishes a single game out of the playoffs for the second year in a row, it is looking like Phillies fans will have to sweat out every game of the season – not just the games in late September. How many days until pitchers and catchers?
Now for the good stuff…
T.O. and the Dallas Cowboys are coming to town. This is the game we have all been waiting for and, as Emoney has been reminding us for the past couple of months, it is time to exact a little revenge on this attention whore. Time for T.O. and the ‘Boys to pay the piper.
