It’s all about the best team in this town, the Philadelphia Eagles. The SportsCasters are all interested in talking about what this team has accomplished during the past few weeks. Can they keep it up? We think so.

Philly SportsCast #70 - December 21, 2006.
It’s time to say goodbye to Allen Iverson and we wish him well – perhaps more than any other Philly All-Star that has left the flock. Forget about all of the off-court messes, this kid played the game hard and always wanted to get that win. A.I. wil get his championship, but, like we all knew long ago, it won’t be with the Sixers.
Also, these are bad times for the Flyers and the Sixers – let’s all try to get through this together.
Finally, I’ll say it again: ‘tis the season, people — enjoy all of this for what just it’s worth. Good friends, good booze and good conversation.

The Birds took care of business when they had to and, while hard to say just how important this win over Carolina was, it keeps the fans on the string a least a week longer. Are we talking Playoffs?
Also, the Phillies have signed a terrific pitcher in potential 20-game winner, Freddy Garcia. Do they now have the best starting rotation on the East? We think so.
