Philly SportsCast #91 - May 30, 2007
It was an excellent weekend all around, the parties, good food, many beers and the Phillies take three in Atlanta. However, like all good things, this surely came crashing to an end. As sure as we all had to get back to work on Tuesday, the Phillies returned to their lackluster play and got swept, at home, by the Arizona Diamondbacks. The video below may be the best thing that came out of those games.

We discuss the Sixers performance in the draft lottery, the NHL playoffs and the Phillies almost blowing a four run lead in the bottom of the ninth in Florida. What a mess.
No matter how many beers we suck down in the basement, the Phillies will not play any better. This team is not going to win anything and the Phillies Brass can kiss our collective asses. We speak for all fans – this team is not going to win anything.

Philly SportsCast #89 - May 16, 2007
The title of this Philly SportsCast is a little misleading – we don’t talk about how fat Antonio Alfonseca is this week. However, after watching the Phils get the win tonight and this fatbody on the hill in the eighth, I had to point out the absolute obvious.
We recorded this as Cole Hamels was dominating the Milwaukee Brewers and there is a ton of fun to be had while a busted-up no-no was taking place. The Phillies look better, the Eagles enjoyed mini camp and the sun is shining – it’s all good in the hood.

There are many things that get is fired up in the basement and one of them is the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback. This 30-year-old prima donna has a lot to learn about being a winner; supporting his teammates - both old and new - and being the star we need him to be. We also dive into a legendary meeting between our resident wing-eating guru and the Pairface. Finally the television show, ‘My Name is Earl,’ parodied the ‘Rudy’ movie and it was hilarious - unfortunately, the episode has been removed NBC.com, so the link I mention in the show is no more.
