Philly SportsCast #100 – August 22, 2007
With a lack of beer in the basement, Derek is not feeling the same potential Dave and Emoney are regarding Philly sports. There just doesn’t seem to be any reason to spend another year just wishing for a championship. Or is there?
After reading off the Pairface post of the week, there may be something to root for after all. Thank God for football.

We decided to take the SportsCast on the road as the basement is not at all condusive to recording during a heatwave - and that is what we have going on here in wonderful Philadelphia. It’s way too hot and Dave and Emoney smell badly when they sweat, so we moved it to the bar.

As we watch all that is going on in the front offices in the National League East not concerning the Phillies, we discuss Bill Walsh’s legacy, the reasons why we think the Eagles are going nowhere and remember to back when Philadelphia was the town all sports looked to.
Finally, we have set up two RSS feeds for Philly SportsCast. The first, the podcast feed, is the one we’ve always had - if you’re solely interested in the podcast, use this one. The second is an “all posts” feed. As we put more and more articles and movies on the site, we wanted to set up a feed that captures this for anyone who may be interested.
