Someone Tell Donovan It’s Over – Very Over

I am unsure what is worse – The Eagles’ 13-13 tie with the pathetic Cincinnati Bengals or the fact that the team’s starting quarterback – Smiling Donovan McNabb – did not know that the overtime perios ends after 15 minutes – regardless if either team scores.

Our ten-year veteran quarterback thought the game would continue until someone scored, just like a playoff game.

“I didn’t know that,” McNabb said after the game. “I’ve never been part of a tie. I never even knew it was in the rule book. I was looking forward to getting the opportunity to get out there and try to drive to win the game. But unfortunately with the rules, we settled with a tie.”

I am floored and I refuse to be floored by this team ever again.

You are telling me that a ten-year starter did not know the rules when it comes to overtime? This head coach is totally responsible for that.

Andy Reid is also responsible for this: The Eagles attempted a pass on all 18 of its third-down plays, including three on third-and-1s. They converted only three of these downs.

Wait a second – I know what’s worse. This quarterback and this head coach.

Man, it just gets worse and worse – this time with a tie.

“I guess we’re aware if it now.” McNabb said.

Still floored.
