Is today the beginning of the end for McNabb?
Sometimes, like today, you suspect but can’t be sure. Donovan McNabb (and Brian Dawkins and some others) could very well be playing their last game as Eagles today. The crowd that fills Lincoln Financial Field won’t know until later whether it is watching an era end – or merely a disappointing season.
It is even possible the big guy on the sideline – no, not Tra Thomas – will be making his farewell appearance at the Linc today. It is a long shot, but not out of the question that Andy Reid could move on after a decade as head coach of the Eagles – by his choice, by Jeffrey Lurie’s choice, or some combination of both. philly.com
Will this queen switch allegiance to the green?
These days there are only two things Sondra Fortunato doesn’t like to discuss: her age and her bra size.
Just about anything else is fair game, especially the last 30 years of cheering on the New York Giants with her own brand of voluptuous team spirit.

Only one score matters to Cowboys today
All that talk about inner turmoil and the daily drama that surrounded a midseason collapse would be erased if the Cowboys advance. Of course, it won’t go away completely until they win another Super Bowl or even their first playoff game in 12 years, but that’s another story.
“It’s a must game for us,” Terrell Owens said. “We can’t really worry about how we got here. We’re here and we’ve just got to win. There’s no excuses to be made. Our season rides on this game.” kdhnews.com
Eagles Team Report
But they didn’t beat the Redskins. They lost to them, 10-3, and now, in all likelihood, the 8-6-1 Eagles will miss the playoffs for the third time in the past four years.
The Eagles still have a remote chance of making the playoffs. If they beat the Cowboys and the Bucs lose to 4-11 Oakland and either the Chicago Bears lose to Houston or the Minnesota Vikings lose to the Giants, then the Eagles would qualify for the postseason at 9-6-1. But that’s an awful lot of ifs.
“There’s still light at the end of the tunnel,†coach Andy Reid said. “Obviously, everybody wants to get to the playoffs, and we still have that opportunity. We have a good football team coming in here.†sports.yahoo.com
