anybody hear on this rumor?
from ken rosenthal, fox sports – “The Phillies were recently working on a blockbuster with Colorado that would have netted them Brian Fuentes and Matt Holliday for something like Shane Victorino, J.A. Happ, Carlos Carrasco, and Lou Marson. Those talks have stalled, and the added payroll might’ve been a problem for the Phillies anyway.”
that would be crazy to have brian fuentes and matt f’n holliday in our lineup, but they would be givin up a whole hell of a lot

Thanks for the heads up, kiddo – posted this above.
If Colorodo was cool with those players offered, and the Phillies balked..wow, a complete blunder. That deal would have sealed at least the NL pennant and most likely a world championship for the Phillies. Matt Holliday in the middle of the lineup would give the Phils the best offense is baseball, bar none.

as your 1-6. Holy Shit..
@RedskinsInsider That sounds about right. Except for the fact that Berry is completely out of his mind.
