Pat Burrell, former right fielder with the Phillies and current Tampa Bay Ray, took out a full page ad in both the Inquirer and Daily News today thanking the fans of this great city.

No. Thank you, Pat. We hope to see you in October as well.

    That was awesome! I’ll be cheering like everyone else the first time Pat comes to the plate in Philly if they play the Rays. I’m also sure Pat will understand, in the true spirit of Philly fans, I’m going to boo the shit out of him in his 2nd plate appearance. Haha! Give’em hell Pat!

    Classy! I remember Edgardo Alfonzo took out ads on NYC cabs that said ‘Fonzie Loves You’ when he left. I always thought that was pretty cool.
