The Mets have acquired right-hander Luis Ayala from the Washington Nationals in order to sure up its nasty bullpen.
Ayala is 1-8 with a 5.77 ERA this season and he’s appeared in a ton of games (62).
Accoring to the Associated Press, New York is expected to send minor leaguer Anderson Hernandez to Washington once he clears waivers.
