Mets Get Bullpen Help

…but with Johan Santana pitching like he did yesterday, will they need it?

The Mets have acquired right-hander Luis Ayala from the Washington Nationals in order to sure up its nasty bullpen.

Ayala is 1-8 with a 5.77 ERA this season and he’s appeared in a ton of games (62).

Accoring to the Associated Press, New York is expected to send minor leaguer Anderson Hernandez to Washington once he clears waivers.

    what the hell were they thinkin, tradin somebody within the division, there are tons of teams out there that need bullpen help, even if it is from a guy who’s 1-8 with a 5.77era
