It’s time to say goodbye to Allen Iverson and we wish him well – perhaps more than any other Philly All-Star that has left the flock. Forget about all of the off-court messes, this kid played the game hard and always wanted to get that win. A.I. wil get his championship, but, like we all knew long ago, it won’t be with the Sixers.
Also, these are bad times for the Flyers and the Sixers – let’s all try to get through this together.
Finally, I’ll say it again: ‘tis the season, people — enjoy all of this for what just it’s worth. Good friends, good booze and good conversation.
