Phillies 2008 N.L. East Champions
They made it interesting, but the Philles got it done – they are the 2008 National League East Champions. Jamie Moyer collected the victory for the second straight year.
Simply relieved.
For the second straight season, the Phillies chased down the Mets in the NL East. The Phils trailed by a season-high 3 1/2 games on Sept. 11, but rallied to claim first place for good on Sept. 20th.

Congrats Phillies! That Brad Lidge pick up turned out to be the best move of the off season. Hopefully we see you in the NLCS.
Lets Go have another Mets collapse. Lets see the Brewers on the way to the show.
Totally agree. F the mets.
i don’t want the mets to even sniff the playoffs, so i hope the brewers win and the marlins dominate!!!
PHILS RULE!!!
