Sixers’ Puzzle Close To Complete

ESPN.com is reporting that the 76ers and restricted free agent Andre Iguodala are set to agree to an $80 million contract that would be set for six years.

Iguodala averaged 19.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists a game last season.

Looks like Sixers general manager Ed Stefanski has completed what he had set out to do - make this team better by signing free agents. Sixers lockup Elton Brand, Royal Ivey and Kareem Rush plus restricted free agent Lou Williams.

Woot! A starting lineup with Andre Miller at point, Iguodala at two, Thaddeus Young at small forward, Brand at power forward, and Sammy Dalembert at center could do some serious damage while the Eagles are struggling.

At least we have something to look forward to this fall.
