I’ve been thinking about this for a very long time. Is there ANYONE in this town who thinks the Eagles even have a remote chance of losing to Minnesota this Sunday?
I can totally understand the optimism. While the Vikings (10-6) are at home, have a better record than the Birds as well as the NFL’s leading rusher and the best defensive line in the league, the Eagles are simply the better team, right?
The Eagles may have the better quarterback, and arguably the better running back. They unquestionably have the better defense – The Eagles allowed an NFL-low 40 points during the month of December – and special teams. But if this team has proven anything throughout this tumultuous season is that it is totally unpredictable and very capable of losing this game.
Please remember that.

Totally agree because it was only 2 weeks ago the Eagles looked horrible against Skins. I hope we get the Andy Reid & McNabb we got during the Cowboys game. By the way, isn’t it great that we don’t have to look at that big ass ugly star on the Cowboys helmets anymore this season.
Philly has never been known to be even-keeled. When the team does halfway decent expectations go through the roof and when things turn a little sour people start throwing batteries. And since there are so many brash fans out there anything reasonable gets drowned out. But at least we can sell out a stadium. I’ll take the passion of this town over the apathy of Minnesota anyday.
I hope you are not telling me the Eagles will win because they can can sell out a stadium. Adrian Peterson is going to rock this team.
Where the fuck did you get that out of my post? You got anything substantial behind that or do you just assume the number 4 rushing defense has no chance whatsoever against a good back in his first playoff game. Didn’t Derek put numbers up about rushing leaders earlier? What? Tavaris Jackson is going to beat us? If the Eagles lose it won’t be anything the Vikings did but what the Eagles fucked up. I’d tell you to put the bottle down but that’s kinda pot / kettle at this point. We’ll see tomorrow. Or today or whatever time it is.
Lets take this negative energy and channel it boys, one goal, Super Bowl.
