Westbrook is a good sport for showing up. The birds front office needs to take care of this situation ASAP.

football contracts are the biggest and maybe the only real problem with this sport
on the management side: its all bs, cuz they can cut the player anytime they want
on the player side: its bs cuz they keep asking for more money, even after only a couple years after signing the contract
it can all be solved with a really simple solution by the players, JUST SIGN 2-3 year contracts. NOTHING ELSE (unless u get a $100 million dollar contract, ala- manning, d-mac), its the same thing from the player’s side because if he signs a 3 year contract, or a 10 year contract, he can still get cut after one year whether he jus sux or he’s injured, and every couple of years, they can renegotiate legally without all this drama
so jus sign 3 year contracts, westbrook’s situation annoys me cuz he jus signed this thing 2 years ago and he’s already pissed

What is the deal with the Andrews situation? He is not reporting to camp and has now been removed from the teams roster. The loss of Andrews would be a HUGE blow. Some believe Andrews is the best G in the NFL.
Why can’t this team keep its star players happy?

Westbrook is worth more than he is being paid. The Eagles are offering him a decent extension but he thinks he is a top 3 RB (which he is not).

Down Goes Asante
Asante Samual will have an MRI on sunday after injuing his hamstring.
One name I will go on record saying that this team NEEDS in the 2009 NFL Draft. Michael Oher.

To me Samuel does NOT fit this defense. He is a zone cover CB. I still do not understand why the Eagles made him their franchise player (salary wise). The clouds are growing darker over this team……..and it’s only July.

Andrews does not like the physical camp that Any Reid employs.
Lazy, fat, offensive linemen are a sound foundation for failure.

Is there something wrong with Andrews mentally? The local reports suggest he may be.

Is Eagles training camp too physical?
As I headed into the city this morning , I listened to a live report from Eagles training camp. A place where G Shawn Andrews is completely avoiding and DE Clemons was taken away in an ambulance. In the report was the disturbing news that S considine layed out WR Kevin Curtis on a play that left the WR out of practice for the rest of the morning.
It is great to see intensity from your players, but the Eagles are not exactly primed for a Super Bowl run. They are already weak at the WR position and are losing players left and right. Defensive End Victor Ambrini had surgery on his wrist that could hav him out for up to four months. Asante Samuel and rookie WR deSean Jackson are both out with leg injured sustained in camp. This is nothing new for this team. There are always significant injuries coming out of Eagles training camp, which leads me to the question, Is Eagles training camp to physical?
