What Will The Day Bring?

With this monstrous sports day about to get underway, it’s time to look at what Philly fans need for it to be successful…

1. Eagles MUST get off to a good start to their season. This is crucial as the team is 3-6 under Andy Reid in openers. A loss to the Rams would be devastating.

2. The Phillies MUST split their doubleheader in New York. I wasn’t really thinking this team would win this series, but after winning game one, there is no reason Pedro cannot be whipped. Santana-Hamels is going to be a great game tonight – I’ll enjoy it as such and won’t expect a win – just a classic.

3. Winning all three games is totally possible – so is losing all three.

What a day this is going to be. Follow me on twitter for updates as I settle in for a long day – and night.

One Comment so far ...

Billy Wagner will miss the rest of the year with a tear of his flexor pronator and MCL in his left elbow.
He will have surgery as soon as this weekend, and could be out for up to one year.

I could honestly care less.
