Where Does Adam Eaton Get The Balls?
After punking out during last year’s amazing post season run, Adam Eaton has asked the Phillies to release him.
Asked if he’d consider starting the season in the minors, Eaton said, “If we get to that point, I’ll be released Eaton told the Wilmington News Journal. And I don’t think that’s the end of the world by any means. It would be kind of prudent not to trade for me. I’m not going to accept another assignment. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist for another GM to maybe wait and take your shot at getting me for less than a trade would be.”
It’s simply amazes me that this guy is even talking to reporters. If the Phillies, who are paying him $8.5 million this season and ask him to scrub the toilets in the locker room the I say they are perfectly within their rights.
Let’s all hop Eaton is released. This story, er nightmare, has to go away.
