With the Phillies tanking in Washington and looking straight to their series at Shea this weekend – something they should not do for sure – we look at the Eagles as the NFL season starts for real tomorrow night.

We hear that there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic…we certainly hope so.

the phils jus got iguchi, what the hell was the point of that?? he’s hitting .231, and .125 since he got back from the DL in july
